Today's Outfit:
What I Wore:
Shoes: Target - $3
Skirt: c/o my mom! She made it! You should see it up close--it looks like one of the J.Crew pencil skirts (even though the fabric is a little on the sketchy scale with the constant wrinkling)
Shirt: Old Navy - $8
Belt: Target - $13
Cardigan: NY&Co - $4
Necklace: Forever21 - $5ish
Earrings: part of a set from Target - $5
Remote control on the floor - c/o husband
I was SO excited when my mom gave me this skirt (last night at the gym). I had to wear it immediately and I thought I'd just go color crazy with it. This top has turned out to be a wise investment--I don't have any patterned shirts that I can pair up with my solid skirts...so I'm thinking that will be something to search for in future shopping trips.
onto the main point...
HELP ME!
I'm getting my hair chopped off tomorrow! Okay, "chopped off" is a bit extreme. I'm thinking I want to keep the length, but I want to get it styled differently. I'm thinking shorter bangs. More layers.
If you're an expert at picking out haircuts for others, feel free to analyze me.
I appreciate the input. :)
Enjoy your weekend, everyone! It looks like we're in for a wild ride tonight as far as the weather is concerned...
XO,
W

Gorgeous is all I will say ... and red is such a beautiful color ... I don't have a pinterest account yet (am not sure if I can remember one more password) so I will leave my suggestion here ... Sandra Bullocks shoulder length and bangs ... I liked them the most :)
Warmest regards,
Ruby
Funny. I wore this (almost) exact outfit today. My skirt was a little more salmon colored and my sweater was different, but dang, we were almost twins. So, I say props on the outfit. You have good taste. ;)
love all the color! i can see how that top will definitely get a lot of wear. i can't wait to see what type of haircut you get!
You are a girl after my own heart! I just found you and had to become a follower. Brilliant idea for a blog. Love your outfits and ideas. I'm dying to see your hair...picture please. Hope you like how it turned out. Come visit me sometime I teach first.

I am so glad you found me! I love meeting other teachers and connecting through blogging--it's one of the best things about it! :)

I tend to buy a lot of the same things--so I forced myself to look for a top like this and I'm glad I did!

That is too funny! Great minds think alike! :)
I think I got a cut very close to Sandra's! Let me know what you think! :)
Have fun with your haircut! I need one desperately, so I'm uber-jealous. And the new skirt is just adorable (yay mom!), especially with the bright primary colors.
I have been needing a haircut for a while, for sure. I get so stuck with a hairstyle that I just need a fresh change every now and then.
I love the skirts my mom makes me! She made all of my clothes when I was a toddler/young kid, and then in middle school-high school, I went through a phase where I didn't want ANY homemade clothes, but now I'm lucky enough that she was willing to brave that! It's funny how things come full circle!
